# Data Location

_General Queries · SurveyTester Academy_

SurveyTester data is hosted on our own hardware within a professionally managed data center in **Germany and USA**. We do not rely on public cloud services—our team owns the hardware, while the data center provides infrastructure such as racks, redundant power, and networking, cooling, and physical security. Importantly, the data center staff has no access to our systems. We also maintain strong security measures, including redundant firewalls and dedicated mass storage.

For clients requiring a US-based setup, we can provide an alternative installation with a trusted US vendor. We have successfully worked with Interserver in the past, and this option remains available.
