Description:

-   **Purpose:** Ensures users stay informed about changes or activity in areas of interest.
-   **Triggered by:** Manual opt-in, auto-subscribe settings, or role-based defaults.
-   **User control:** Users can usually turn subscriptions on or off per item.

You’re subscribed to the notifications for a project when you are assigned to a role, and the project is assigned to the same role.

If you’d like to stop receiving the notifications, please search for the project and click the EYE button to **unsubscribe**.
