Every new SurveyTester company comes with the demo project Museums of New York already installed. This video uses it to show a complete first testing session, from opening the project to the first reported issue, in under eight minutes.
What the video shows
- Opening the demo project and what the project page tells you before you test anything: survey link, languages, test runs so far.
- Starting a manual test run and walking through the survey the way a respondent would, with the SurveyTester browser extension active in the page.
- Reporting an issue right where you see it: classify it, mark the spot on the screenshot, add a comment.
- Looking at the result: the pages the run visited, the answers given on each page, the screenshots, and the issue list that your team sees.
Before you start
- You need a SurveyTester account. A free trial is enough.
- Install the browser extension first, see Installing the SurveyTester extension.
Next step
Once the demo project feels familiar, create a project with your own survey link: Your First Project.
